| PRINTING Giclée Archival Pigment Prints Giclée printmaking is a relatively new printmaking method, but the purity and fidelity of the giclée pigment print has already set new standards in fine art reproduction. Giclée printmaking is the technique of applying pigmented inks to the paper in an ultra-fine mist or spray. What differentiates a giclée print is the delicacy of the detail, the richness of the color, and the absolute smoothness of the tone. These giclée prints are made on either 100% cotton rag or photographic pearl paper. All products used in printing are acid-free and of archival quality. FRAMING All prints are professionally printed and dry mounted using 100% acid-free and archival products. As with any fine art, it is recommended that your print not be hung in direct sunlight. ACRYLIC GLASS FRAMING: With Border This custom-made frame, characterized by its generous acrylic border with polished edges, is clean and contemporary. Designed and measured to compliment the size of your print, these frames are completely seamless. Premium quality acrylic is used and specified at a substantial ¾” thickness. Tru Vue Conservation Glass protects the print against damage and fading caused by UV light. ACRYLIC GLASS FRAMING: Without Border Manufactured in Europe, these finished pieces stand alone with a deep, shiny, luminous quality. The process involves an original photographic print, mounted on a solid aluminum backing. Finally, it is sealed behind a polished, premium acrylic glass sheet. UV protected and manufacturer guaranteed. Pictured Left: ACRYLIC GLASS FRAME with border |
